Volunteering/Fundraising Opportunity – New- Looking for 20 People

Why:             To raise funds for Pulford Community Living Services – you volunteer, funds are then donated to our well deserving organization.

Where:         Investors Group Field

When:          All home games for Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Valour Football Club and other stadium events as required.

Volunteer shifts begin 2 hours in advance of game kickoff and last approximately 6 to 6.5 hours.

 

Volunteers will be representing, not only Pulford, but also the Bombers and Valour Football Club so professionalism, patience, big smiles, ability to learn and pass along information to guests are key requirements. First impressions count.  Must also, in some instances, be comfortable handling money.

 

Only those willing to commit to all Bomber games or all Valour games (and other events as required) will be considered. (commitment required to ensure consistency of Pulford support).

 

Training will be given – 1.5 to 2 hours either at Pulford head office or at Investors Group Field (date and time to be determined).

 

Safety vests and equipment, plus bottled water will be provided on game day.

 

Dress code is in effect:

           Long black pants preferred (no shorts, baggy or otherwise).

           No tank tops, low necklines, t-shirts with inappropriate writing or sportswear.

No team/sports related hats (blank baseball hats ok).

           No sandals – flat, closed toed shoes only (safety requirement).

 

Volunteers will have permission to enter the stadium to watch games, free of charge, after game attendees have arrived and before attendees start to leave (break time to be determined by on-site leader).

 

Volunteers are eligible to purchase “Staff Cash” for food/drinks, allowing them to buy at 50% of actual concessions costs.
