Pulford is pleased to announce that we are offering a brand-new training opportunity sector featuring the talented storyteller, Cate Friesen, of The Story Source.

This training is a two-day workshop takes place on September 25 and 26 and will incorporate Cate’s expert ability to help you find your organization’s voice and find the stories within it that will help advocate for what’s important to you. In our sector we have many people who have stories that need to be told. They can be inspirational, educational, entertaining and challenging, and every story is important to tell. And as many of us in this sector know, there are many who can’t tell their own story and so the responsibility falls on us to become the beacon for their story.

Cate will take participants on a journey to find their own stories and will provide the tools to help dig up stories of the past and identify stories of the future.

The stories you’ll learn to tell will aid in future grants applications, fundraising efforts, social media and marketing. They’ll assist in building a system of family and self-advocacy, they’ll help inspire your organization and they’ll capture the history of the people you support.
